The Extraordinary in the Ordinary

Everyone would witness the sunset and find it very attractive and amusing. Even I was one of them. The changing of the clear sky to starry night is a miracle for me. And the appearance of the rainbow after the rain is so much captivating. These are ordinary things that happen in our everyday lives. But we do not spend much time looking at them. We don’t really pay attention to the everyday miracle of changing colors of the sky as the sun rises. But if we take a closer look at the ordinary things around us, we may realize that they are not so ordinary after all. And that there exists someone who could be simple yet… captivating.

Anyone who would see her would say she’s simple…her beauty is simple, her outfit is simple, she talks smartly down to earth, she doesn’t mind buying cheap stuff and eating standing on squid balls stalls with you. She would find simple things attractive with just addition of color or a little more décor. She’s a jeans-and-shirt kinda girl, very next-door type plus she has a pretty face and a y*mmy body…well, yeah she has the coke trophy. She’s smartly amazing having you beaten in logic and knocked out with her witty jokes. Pretty creative, mindful and reflective. Vanity if she would spell it: healthy. Healthy amount of vanity would do no harm anyway.

She would smile on pictures. But perfect smiles won’t fool me…she’s the possibility for someone ordinary to appear extraordinary. If you will change your perspective on looking on ordinary things and take a look on my scope you will find her not so ordinary after all.

She finds the sunset very beautiful but she doesn’t know how her beauty shines even without the sun. She would find the weather so hot and wish for a coke with ice. The truth is, she would have been the hottest thing ever created if the sun has not been made. She admires the fanciful colors of the rainbow and she’s unconscious on how I fly on fantasies as she paints my world with happiness. Just telling me mundane details of her day, she doesn’t know how she made my day. With her simple helo, it makes me wanna make non-stop kwento. Demanding and possessive would be one of her top qualities as a girl. Charming at times but bratty most of the time. She knows the thin line between sweetness and sensuality. She has both. I’m running out of words though… I’d better stop this. Tuloy ko na lang next time…

Bottom line: answer to finding happiness may come from simplest things.
